it seems many would like to send their ‘vlouded’ music to friends by copy/pasting the URL. but we blocked that behavior with a great deal of thought. for starters, we didn’t want people boosting RUSH’s ‘2012’ and serving up a louder version for the world. but mostly it was bc we thought producers of music, who need a quick, nice limiter/enhancer to slap on their mp3’s would want privacy. and listening to what’s been uploaded has beared that out…mostly original material is being pushed thru vloud.
so the basics of vloud are super simple:
-i want my mp3 to translate better for broadcast on tumblr, myspace, virb, purevolume, etc.
-selecting one of the four different presets of our limiter/enhancer, which are pretty
intuitively labeled.
-processing will begin the minute you hit upload.
-WAIT a sec for processing.
-a deliver page will come up which will auto-play your processed song. if it
sounds good, hit download and be on your way to tumblr, virb, etc. if not so hot
try anothe preset.
those are the ABC’s of the vloud. super simple, process and be on your way. we have a lot plans for this, being the first DSP site we’ve seen…think there’s a lot of room to grow. hope you come with us.
