place for thoughts on vloud, the future of online dsp, and other stuff. updated by me, trevor kampmann. theme an ode to JSTN's of muxtape.
recently saw this in our twitter feed. i replied w the obvious: 1. make your mixes translate on tumblr, myspace, virb, etc. 2. boost old CD’s in your iTunes library that are too quiet. but what’s fascinating is how vloud is how it’s being used in ways we never imagined. like for boosting RINGTONES, lectures, podcasts, screencasts, anything that’s a unintelligible. i never thought this is where it would go. there’s still A LOT of user-produced music going through which is fantastic bc the algorithm and processing is something we’re v proud of…definitely worthy of your mp3’s and WAVS. (we’re hoping to raise the max MB for WAVS in the near future…this will allow all processing to be done at 88.2/32bit) stay tuned. thanks
